 Njom FOODS OÜ Cookie Terms

Cookie Policy

To ensure that you receive the best service and the most relevant information when visiting our website njom.ee ("Website"), we collect data and information about you through cookies. The use of cookies allows us (and other authorized third parties) to provide you with a personalized experience when using the services ("Services") on our Website. It also allows us to improve our Service and ensure that you easily find what you are looking for. We want you to understand how we use this technology, so we explain in our Cookie Policy which cookies we use, how they work, and what your choices are regarding their use.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data blocks sent by the web server to your browser and stored on your computer so that the Website recognizes your computer. There are two types of cookies: persistent cookies and temporary cookies (so-called session cookies). Persistent cookies are stored as a file on your computer or mobile device for a longer period. Session cookies are temporarily sent to your computer when you visit our Website, but these cookies are deleted when you close the page, i.e., they are not permanently stored on your device. Most companies use cookies on their websites to improve their use. Cookies cannot damage your files or increase the risk of viruses on your computer.

We and our service providers may use the following types of cookies:

Strictly necessary cookies: Necessary cookies are absolutely essential for us to keep our Website running. For example, we use these cookies to authenticate and identify Website visitors in order to provide them with our Service. Without these cookies, we would not recognize you and you would not be able to access our Services. These cookies also help us comply with our Terms and ensure the security of our services.

Performance cookies and functionality cookies: these cookies are not absolutely necessary but allow us to make your Website experience more personalized. For example, they allow us to remember your preferences so that you do not have to provide information you have already given us, such as when registering for our Services. We also collect information about visitor activity using these cookies (such as popular pages, viewing patterns, and click-through rates) to improve our Website and Services and conduct market research. If you choose to delete these cookies, our services will have limited functionality for you.

Advertising cookies: these cookies contain information about how you have used our website and other websites, such as which pages you have visited and which ads you have clicked on, so that we can present you with the most relevant ads, both on our and other websites. These ads are called "interest-based advertising." Many of these advertising cookies belong to our service providers.

What about other tracking technologies, such as web beacons?

Cookies are not the only way to identify or track website visitors. We may occasionally use other similar technologies, such as web beacons (sometimes called "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs"). These are small graphic files containing a unique identifier that allows us to recognize when someone has visited our websites or opened an email we have sent. The purposes for which we use other tracking technologies are generally the same as cookies, as described in these cookie usage principles. In many cases, these technologies depend on cookies to function properly, so refusing cookies also impairs the operation of other tracking technologies. The cookies described in these cookie usage principles also include web beacons and other tracking technologies.

How do we use cookies?

We use cookies to make the Website more user-friendly and to present you with personalized recommendations. We also use several authorized third parties who implement cookies on our Website on our behalf to provide their services.

We may also use session cookies that allow us to transfer data from one subpage of our website to another without requiring you to re-enter data.

At the same time, we also use persistent cookies in several ways, for example:

  • to enable you to navigate between subpages of our website and find information without needing to re-enter data
  • to help us identify you when you next use our website service;
  • to provide you access to stored data;
  • to recommend other products and services that match your interests; and
  • to ensure that you do not have to fill out the customer survey form multiple times.

We (and third parties authorized by us) may use non-personal data from both persistent and session cookies for the following statistical purposes:

  • to determine which parts of the Website are the most popular;
  • to monitor the usage of services and the Website (frequency and duration);
  • to provide third parties with anonymous information so they can present you with more relevant advertising;
  • to track which products sell best;
  • to find out how often you and other users visit the Website and purchase products;
  • to conduct customer surveys to improve your experience with the Website and with us.

What cookies do we use?

We use the following cookies to provide the Service:

  • ott_cookies_confirmed: stores information that the user has agreed to the use of cookies on the website.
  • ott_dids: a security cookie to identify users who have marked the web browser as a registered device.

  • ott_adult_confirmed: stores information that an anonymous user has confirmed access to the highest rated content (RED access rating).
  • ott_web_rt: a security cookie refresh element to update the stored login. It helps the visitor stay logged in.
  • ott_web_rt_stored: indicates the presence of a stored login on non-secure (HTTP) pages.
  • ott_messages_read: stores information about whether the user has read the displayed text.
  • NJOM_SESSION: to identify the user session. It is applied during the user's visit to distinguish one visitor from another and to track who the user is so that we can present content they are authorized to see.

Google Analytics: it is used for the analytics tool. For more information, visit http://www.google.co.uk/analytics/. For information on how to opt out, read https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Mux Data: A service that provides a technical overview of streaming data but does not store information about the user. Its purpose is to analyze the collected data to improve the service and ensure its maximum performance.

How to delete cookies?

You can choose whether to accept the use of cookies or not. If you want to know when your computer receives a cookie, you can set your browser to notify you. This way, you can accept or reject cookies as you wish. Visit the website http://aboutcookies.org/, if you want to know how to activate this option. Please note that changes to your browser settings that disable cookie usage may prevent some parts of our Website, such as logging in and viewing content, from functioning properly.
